You don’t even taste good anyway. Why are you releasing a new batch of Evangelion coffee cans?
Oh, right… It’s Evangelion. No one bothers about how you taste like.
I’ve been trying to get a complete collection of the UCC Evangelion coffee ever since it was released nearly 2 years ago as part of the new Evangelion movie promotion.
My collection of the Evangelion coffee cans first began with the first batch of the new Evangelion coffee when I was on an exchange programme held in Chiba. The movie was screening while I was there, so I took the opportunity to catch it, as well as lug back some coffee.
Being somewhat obsessed with sets, I knew that I just had to get the 2 cans that were sold at the same time the Evangelion 1.0 DVD was released. I didn’t have any way to get them by myself as they were only released shortly after I returned from Japan with 2 of the Evangelion maid design coffee can . 0ne was in Japan during the time when the DVD was launched, so he helped me snag a pair as an addition to my collection.
This time, however, it looks like my collection would be left uncompleted. There simply isn’t any way to get the new 6 cans. I would get them if I have the chance to, but for now, I’ll just leave my coffee can collection as it is. 10 cans sitting of the shelf, waiting to be expired.
This is what I really want though
Set obsession is a real pain. I have a friend who collected the Shining Wind releases, and he often complained to me about how each new release would burn his wallet. When I suggested to him about stopping at what he currently owns, he would say that he has a compulsion to own a complete set. The Max Factory Haruhi releases also applied to him.
I’m so glad that the stuff that currently applies to me are only coffee cans that cost around 100 yen.
Sets are so evil.
I wish this vending machine was around my place. Why do I have to come to Akihabara to buy all the way from Chiba? So thing is, it costs more than 100 yen to me. Evil.
Aren’t there any shops in your area that sell this stuff? I think cinema goods shops sell Evangelion coffee too.

I understand you do it for collecting evangelion stuff. I think i would do it too, but if the set is too extensive, expensive or hard to find, i would reconsider it.
