Evangelion 2.0 And Impatient People

I do know that Evangelion 2.0 began airing in cinemas all over Japan just 3 days ago, and someone left a comment asking why there wasn’t even a single entry about it from me. The reason’s simple.

I’m unable to watch it now. Unlike the first movie which I could watch because I was conveniently in Japan, I can only catch this movie when it hits the local silver screens, or when the official DVD is released. What’s the point of me blogging about something that I can’t watch firsthand?

Batch Watching Or An Episode A Week

I dropped Eden of the East at the hospital episode as I had a gut feeling to do so. The Johnnies were calling out to me, sending me a message.

JOHNNY!

Actually, it was because I missed an episode and decided that I might as well wait till the series ends at 11 episodes. So, I waited for weeks, and now that the airing of the series is finally over, I picked up the series again, right from the start. The Last Episode Of K-ON! Is Like Crappyake Girls

Episode 12 may not really be the last episode since there’s some extra episode coming up next week, but who cares? I doubt the girls are going to play any music in that episode anyway. They’ll probably be munching on some of Mugi’s snacks and sipping tea, like always.

Sheesh ya’ll, shut up and start playing already!

Since K-ON! will be coming to an end sooner or later, let’s go through the songs that have lasted us through the 12 episodes. I hope I’ve not left anything out.

Squier Stratocaster

Finally, after months of waiting for I’m not sure exactly what, I got myself an electric guitar. A real Fender Stratocaster would have been a dream come true, but no, poor noobs like me should stick to copies like Squier.

Eyeshield 21 Ends, I Am Sad

There are only 3 Shonen JUMP manga series which I follow religiously. Bakuman, One Piece and Eyeshield 21. Now, I only have 2 remaining.

Gone with the wind, like Sena’s run

I wasn’t exactly expecting Eyeshield 21 to end so quickly after the match against the American team. I was looking forward to a plot which would extend much further beyond that match, featuring more interesting matches of Sena and gang against other teams after the All-Star Japan team dissolves. Sadly, it wasn’t as such.
