That question aside, I really had no idea what I could anticipate for Taishou Yakyuu Musume. Before watching the first episode, all I knew about the series was that it would be revolving around Baseball. Without watching any trailers or reading any summaries, I wasn’t sure if this would be like another K-ON! that had more Moe than music, or in this case, Baseball. One thing’s for sure, the first few minutes of the show showing the girl dancing around made me cringe.
The first episode appears to be void of any Moe particles, or at least retard Moe. Dojikkos and the like that we have witnessed in K-ON are absent, as of yet. I hope this remains the same throughout the series, and that Baseball action takes up a fair share of screen time. I shall keep my hopes low, so I’m not expecting this to be similar to the level of Oofuri’s standard.
On another note, I just realised that I have totally no idea what to watch this Summer.
