R.I.P/Merry Christmas

Finally, after nearly 2 years, a BUMP OF CHICKEN release. And what more, on 25th November, my birthday. It’s probably the best “birthday present” I have received to date.

It’s a double A-side single, not that it matters since BUMP’s songs are all good. Currently, there are no other details regarding what the songs will be like. Looks like it’s going to be a long impatient wait for the songs to appear on the radio for me.

Addicted To Galileo Galilei

Galileo Galilei, a Japanese band comprising of member who are all younger than me. They used to be a 4 piece band, but their lead guitarist left recently. Now, they are left with 3 members; the guitar/vocals and bass being 18 and the drums being 16. At those ages, they have achieved what I can only dream off.

To Japan I Will Return Again

Yes, I’m back in Singapore. I don’t know what to feel now. The 17 days spent in Japan went by just like that.

I’ve met a lot of people this trip, both Japanese and non-Japanese. Talking to strangers has never been my forte, but I actually did it. For example, while waiting in line for live performances, I picked up the courage to talk to the people around me.

In Kumamoto

I love midnight flights as I can touch down early in the morning and still have the whole day ahead. At the same time, I hate them because I only get 2-3 hours of sleep. This flight was pretty awesome though, since they kept stuffing me with food.


Just before landing

After arriving at Fukuoka Airport, I made my way down to Kumamoto, but not before missing a station because I slept past it. There I met a friend from a previous exchange programme. Today was basically going on a date with a really cute girl, except that I can’t get her to be my girlfriend because she’s already someone’s. ORZ
