If you’ve noticed, I’ve changed the “catchphrase” for this blog. An e-cookie for anyone who knows where I ripped part of the phrase from.
More than 2 years ago, I started blogging on this site with the intention of building my very own word dump for whatever thoughts I had regarding my obsession at that point of time; Anime and the otaku subculture. It started off well, and at one of point of time, I had so much to write about that I was posting on a daily basis. Thinking back, I’m amazed at how I could come up with posts so easily.
Evangelion still rocks, though
However, it’s no longer the same. The flames of obsession were burning too rapidly, so rapidly that I suffered a burnout. I was thinking that I could possibly recover with time, but as time passed, my interest continued to wane. Then, in July 2009, I quit anime as I actually felt too tired of watching the episodes.
Thus, I’ve come to a decision that this site’s focus will change.

My site’s been rather lifeless since the beginning of 2009, and I’ve been pondering over the factors causing such a desert. The first thing I thought of was the number of anime that I’ve been following. As of this year, there wasn’t a single point of time where I had more than 5 shows on my weekly watch list.
This let to further thought probing, and eventually realised that I wasn’t writing content that should be in a typical anime blog; Anime. Just take a look at the anime category and you’ll notice that ever since the year began, I’ve only written less than 20 entries. As expected, having such a watch list would lead to the result you see on this site now.

If you happen to be reading this post, that means the new DNS has already propgated for you. I changed the DNS for the domain just yesterday, so it might not be fully working for everyone yet.
An unrelated but really cool Tachikoma image
My previous host gave a whole lot of problems, such as speeds slower than a snail. Hence, the moment I received my very first payment from Google, I did the switch. Hopefully, there will not be any problems like I had in the past. The site’s loading speed seems to be so much better now, but I’m not sure about it’s speed for the rest of you. Do comment if there’s an improvement, or if it’s something worse. I highly doubt the latter though.

Usually, I don’t pay attention to the ads on my site, but it was only recently when I decided to check out what was actually featured in those blocks of links.
I thought that Google would block the NSFW links, but apparently, some get through. Take this for example.
