Pretty Plastic Sales

As some of you might know, I’ve stopped purchasing figures for a very long time. I think my last purchase was a year ago. Although my purchases have be put to an end, a number of pretty plastics still stand on my shelf, or in their boxes. So I thought, instead of leaving them there, selling them away and convert the cash from sales into other forms of wood, metal and plastic would be a better option.

Here’s the list of whatever I want to sell, which is about a good half of my collection. Prices are listed in SGD. Bidding is acceptable, in the comments section. If you buy more, you get a slight discount. Collection of goods is by meeting up.

No photos though, since taking a picture of every single one would take too much time. Everything comes with the original boxing unless stated.

Do note that I’ve never been an adventurous figurine photographer who takes figurines on guerrilla warfare styled photo shoots, so they’re all in good condition behind the safety of the glass cabinets or their boxes. No missing or damaged parts. Most of the figurines are a little dusty, but a good dry clean up should fix it.

Besides figurines, you can check out my room post from 2 years ago. If anything not in the list catches your eye, just drop a comment and we can discuss it. Also, I’m selling some Jpop/Anisong CDs here too, so check them out.

For any queries, drop a comment in the comment section below and I’ll get back to you. Or you can email me at kirishima.rei[at]gmail[dot]com.

Do me a favour and spread the link to this post around, or even better, buy my stuff! Thanks!

Anime Festival Asia 2009

It’s past mid-November, which means that it’s time for AFA again. Bah, why do I even have to say this. Most people who are reading this would have been there.

I may not be a fan of K-ON, but this Japanese Mio’s cute

I didn’t manage to attend AAC ‘09 which was held on 20th November as I had school. School sucks. It was a real pity that I missed out on it as I heard that it was a rather enriching experience. You certainly couldn’t expect less from an industry talk. You can find out more about the event from Darkmirage’s coverage.

My event posts have often been a huge messy ramble, and I don’t really like that. Hence, I shall take up a neater, categorised approach towards this AFA ‘09 post.

Detroit Metal City: The Movie

I could have caught the movie much earlier last year, but I chose the Gurren Lagann movie over this. It’s not like I’m regretting my choice though, since both movies have their own strengths.

甘い甘い甘い甘い~ 恋人~!

Without a doubt, the DMC movie is entertaining. Needless to say, anyone who has been reading the manga, or watching the OVAs would be cackling away throughout the duration of this film. Even for those who have yet to be introduced to DMC through other mediums, the movie would still prove to be great humour material.

The Figurine Collector’s Cycle: A Requiem

Just like everything else that has a life cycle, figurine collecting does have its’ cycle too.

It’s no surprise that many who watch and love anime eventually transform into fans, enlisting into the cult of figurine collecting. This serves as a channel to express their love for their favourite series and characters. This is the start of the whole madness, with roughly 3 stages. I’m sure that everyone who collects has been through something like that.

Figurine Sale

With the beginning of a new year comes new wants, and to fund this new wants, I need the finance. I just blew 200 odd dollars on my guitar, another 100 odd on the first month’s lesson fees, and next up’s probably a flash. As such, I’ve decide to sell some of my figurines, mostly impulse purchase, meaning I don’t really love the character a lot. Sometimes, when I look around my room, I often wonder what I was really thinking when I bought or pre-ordered certain figurines. This is beneficial for both me and those who plan to make a purchase, since the figurines will be getting owners who would love them much more than I do. Also, I can probably get my flash earlier.

Before I list out the stuff, please take note that I only accept Singapore buyers.
