I’m feeling rather down now, because of the homestay program. It just ended yesterday. I’m really bothered that I didn’t play the role of a host that well.
I don’t really have much time to blog for these few days, and almost all the time I can spare now is pretty much to upload the following picture.
I’ve always wanted to watch Koizora ever since I knew that it was coming to Singapore. Nope, it wasn’t because it was some box office top seller. It was for 4 reasons that I watched Koizora.
Hurray, the artistes that I was rooting for won in the various categories!

I’ve been a really free man for the past week, leading a rather hikkikomori-like lifestyle for the past few days. The only time I went out was on Wednesday for a barbecue. The rest of the time was spent in front of my 2 screens.
To kill some boredom, I decided to explore some artistes which I had never tuned in to before. And so, I chanced upon Nakanomori Band’s newest album, Electric Girl.
This has got to be one of the most irritating things. Japanese text is already alien enough to many people, but when it turns into real incomprehensible gibberish, things get worse. That’s what Mojibake (文字化け) is.
Seriously, that’s one thing that I can never do properly.
For example, look at this picture. How old do you think she is?
I guessed 20-21.
社交辞令 【しゃこうじれい】, which means a polite or diplomatic way of putting things. That’s a new Japanese phrase I learned through some chatting.
