Sheesh Y’all, It’s More Than Just Anime

Yet another fruitful season of my favourite baseball anime has come to a conclusion. It has been a wonderfully entertaining 25 episodes. Unlike season 4 which was focused only on Goro’s minor league arc, we get to see more characters sharing a place in the limelight, such as the players in Team Japan.

One thing that I love about Major is the emotional bits and pieces that start flying towards you with second you witness the teamwork of Goro’s team in play. It was present in all of the first 3 seasons, but sadly, absent in season 4. Those were really stuff that could result in buckets of passionate manly tears.

The last anime that I shed tears as I watched was Byousoku 5cm, and the last time I watched it was almost a year ago. Therefore, it’s been quite a long time since a single salty droplet flowed out while I watched anime. I was determined not to cry while watching any anime anymore, but as I watched the debut episode of Cross Game, I couldn’t control myself.
And with that, my weekly must-watch list is reduced to one. Major.

This scene reminds me of a certain someone…
One Outs has been a really enjoyable 25 weeks. I’m haven’t watched too many sports anime, and with the exception of Eyeshield 21, all that I’ve watched has been Baseball.

Just when I thought I would never see another broken bat in Major after Season 4’s finale, 3 bats were broken in a single episode, and what more, all in row. Something has got to be wrong with those crappy bats used in Major. Are they like, termite infested or something?
