Just a few days ago,my sister hosted some primary school Japanese kids who came from Yamaga City. The duo who stayed in my house for 3 days were primary six boys.We had quite a great time together trying to communicate with each other, despite the language barrier. My command of the Japanese language is so poor that I can barely communicate with them. Although I was not the main host, I felt that I played a more active role in interacting with the 2, as compared to my sister.
Anyway, just a few hours ago, we went to send the Japanese students off at Changi Airport.

さよなら
The Japanese students are those in yellow caps.Oh,and if you are looking for me in this picture,I’m not in it.
This experience is indeed a refreshing one. How often do you get to stay under the same roof with students of another nationality.
I can’t wait for my exchange programme in Chiba this September. Although the home stay will be only for 1 night,I’m eagerly looking forward to it.Hopefully by then,my Japanese communication skills would have improved so that communicating would be slightly easier. It should be fun, from what I’ve heard so far.
Only thing I’m dreading about the Chiba trip is Disneyland/sea.It has been engraved in my mind as a place where you queue for 2 hours just for a 3 minute ride. I’ll find some way to sneak out and go to Akiba instead,I hope. *crosses fingers*
