I only had half a day in Bangkok, and I made full use of it. In about 4 hours, I embarked on a search for shops that would be of interest to fellow otakus who might be making a trip over there. My post is by no means comprehensive, but merely a rough guide on what you can expect.

Evangelion Die Sterne has been out of print for a long period of time, even before I started watching anime. I think it was printed a couple of years back, hence the out of production. But, I’m glad that a newer version of the artbook was published. It has been out in bookstores for some months, but it was only till today when I took opportunity of the Kinokuniya storewide 20% sales to grab this book.
And now, I present to you Die Sterne 2.0.

It costed S$50 even after the discount, and the yen price was 2,800 yen. I felt it was still a ripoff but I got it anyway. My wallet cries.

I did not scan this artbook mainly because I do not have a scanner, and I don’t want to risk damaging it. Instead, I took photos of it so that you can have a sneak preview of what’s inside.
