I decided to review it.
I don’t own a PSP, so I don’t get it contact with all the fun games released for it. Hence, when Macross Ace Frontier was released not too long ago, I didn’t have a chance to try it out. That is, until school reopened for the new semester.

A classmate of mine happens to have obtained an open-source copy of the game, and during our breaks in school, he would kindly lend it to the pathetic PSP-less soul, also known as me. He’s the only one in my class who reads this blog on a regular basis, so maybe I should show my gratitute by uploading a picture of him playing Maross Ace Frontier on his PSP!
I kid.

I’ve already revealed the Ikari Shinji Cosplay, but since we were at a cosplay event in Harumi, there were other cosplays too. I must say, the level of cosplay at the event we attended was much higher than that of the events back home.

Due to my Japanese lesson, I missed the mini announcement session Dentsu had yesterday, which almost everyone from the local otaku scene attended. Drats!

Anyway, despite not being able to attend the event, information does spread fast over the net, and now everyone and their loli knows that May’n’s heading over to Singapore for the AFA08. Hurray! Looks like I’m going to fork out some cash for something more than the normal seating.

Ever since I came across the original Macross TV series and movie, I’ve always loved the classic 愛・覚えていますか. However, it was only with the recent release of Nakajima Megumi’s latest single 星間飛行 (Seikan Hikou) did I realise that there were actually quite a number of versions of the song out there.

I’m not sure if I managed to cover them all, but here’s all I’ve found.

I never thought that I would keep up with the habit of purchasing Shonen Ace monthly, but I have actually done so for 3 months.

Where’s the passionate singing while an intense major battle’s going on?

Just a random thought when I was listening to Sakamoto Maaya’s latest single, Triangler.

Listen to the 2 audio samples, with the first being Sakamoto Maaya’s Triangler, Macross Frontier’s OP , and the second being being Porno Graffitti’s Melissa, Full Metal Alchemist’s first OP, and see if you find them somewhat strikingly similar.
